Ellen (Jan) Janette Daniels, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2021, at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born May 31, 1938, in North Carolina to Irving and Bernice Stone.
She married John Junior Daniels on August 17, 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband John.
Ellen is survived by her 3 children, daughter Janenne Daniels-Bosher and husband Mark (children Angela and Mark), daughter Janelle Poldy and husband Greg (children Allyson and Matthew) and daughter Jennifer Phillips and husband Jeff (children Gray and Ryan). She is also survived by her brothers Alton Stone and Norwood Stone. Ellen was also blessed in life with many cousins, nephews and nieces. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Diuguid Funeral Home on Timberlake Road from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. The service will be held on April 15, 2021, at 12 Noon at Diuguid Funeral Home on Timberlake Rd. A graveside service to immediately follow at Fort Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Lung Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
