Lessie Lee (Campbell) Caudle

May 5, 1927 ~ October 13, 2021 (age 94)

Burlington – Lessie Campbell Caudle, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.  

She was born in Caswell County on May 5, 1927 to the late Allen Levi and Francis Elizabeth Walker Campbell and was the wife of 56 years to the late Roy Madison Caudle, Sr.

   Lessie was a member of the Lamb’s Chapel. She worked from home as a seamstress for over 30 years and enjoyed her flowers and gardening.

   Survivors include her son, Roy Madison Caudle, Jr.; daughter, Cindy Miers (Wendell); grandsons, Anders Drewry (Lesli), Roy Madison Caudle III (Jessica Eaton); great grandchildren, Emma and Tallis Drewry, Chandler and Hunter Caudle, Camryn Mitchell and sisters, Louise Ryals (Joseph) and Barbara Ward. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and five sisters.

   A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:30 on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home. 

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County, 2213 Edgewood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215.
