Paulette Talley Capps, 83, of Graham, NC passed away at Brookdale Assisted Living in Burlington on Monday, August 11, 2025.
A native of Reidsville, NC, she was the wife of the late Ronald A. Capps and the daughter of Willie James Talley and Eva Benson Talley, both deceased. She retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company. Paulette loved deer hunting and watching hummingbirds. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Joyce Hartsoe and husband Mike of Gibsonville, Jim Sharp of Burlington, Janet Paulette Layell and husband Wayne of Walkertown, and Michael Sharp of Alpharetta, GA; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and special nephew, Jan Capps of Graham.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bellemont Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Research, AuthoraCare Hospice, or Billy Graham Evangelistic-Samaritans Purse.
