MILLS, RUBY HELEN- Of Fort Shaw, MT, formerly of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010, age 105, at the Teton nursing Home in Choteau, Montana, from natural causes. Ruby was born May 7, 1904, in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of Charles Wing and Ella Lou (Smith) Richardson. She was married to Charles C. Mills on October 23, 1922, in Wayne County, Michigan. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Richard Mills during World War II, and Charles Floyd Mills; and granddaughter, Amanda Stevens. She was a homemaker and worked for 33 years on Red Cross Blood Drives and was a Captain of the Red Cross Blood Drives. Mom was noted for her biscuits and delicious pies. She loved mystery books and was a whiz at crossword puzzles and knitting. She was a great mom whom everyone loved. Ruby is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Brososky of Fort Shaw, MT; grandchildren, Steve Mills, Kathy Wynn, both of Parma, MI, Ron Mills of Jonesville, MI, Gregory Brososky of Saline, MI, Jim Brososky of Whitmore Lake, MI, Timothy Brososky of Britton, MI, and Dianne Stemen of Manchester, MI; great-grandchildren, Nick, Ryan, Amanda and Steven Todd Mills, Jack and Andrea Wynn, Zachary and Jared Brososky, Nick Zaborsky, Travis and Blake Stemen, all of Michigan; and several great-great-grandchildren. . Interment will be in the Roseland Memorial Gardens.
