Patsy "Pat" Garrison Carter, 79 of Wake Forest, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021. She was born in Alamance County, NC, the daughter of William Clarence and Bertha Beckom Garrison . She had been employed for many years as a Business Administrator at Northern Wake Hospital in Wake Forest and later as a Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones.
Pat is survived by son, William "Bill" Carter and wife Michelle of Wendell, NC; daughter Angie Brogden and husband Tony of Wake Forest; granddaughter, Alexis Brogden Dillard and husband Chris; grandson, Carter Brogden of Wake Forest; step-grandson, Tyler Dowdy of Raleigh; great granddaughter Jessie MacBeth Dillard of Wake Forest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James L. "Jimmy" Carter who died in 1993.
A special thanks to the administration and staff of Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wake Forest, NC for the love and care they gave so freely over the past several years.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 at Bright Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest with Rev. Al Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
