March 12, 1932 ~ April 18, 2022 (age 90)
Peggy Parsons Spears, 90, of Graham passed away at Liberty Commons on Monday, April 18, 2022.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Leonard Spears and the daughter of Samuel Thomas Parsons, Sr. and Thelma Louise Kitsinger Parsons, both deceased.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Cassie Spears Walker and husband Joseph “Andy” Walker; two great-grandchildren, Vada and Preston Walker; two sisters, Kay Wilson and husband Robert of Haw River and Carolyn Cook of Browns Summit; brother, Samuel Thomas “Tommy” Parsons, Jr. and wife Clarice of Burlington; and two daughters-in-law, Nancy Spears and Deloris Reed. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gregory Spears and Michael Spears; sister, Becky Adams; and brother, Bobby Parsons.
A memorial service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00.
