Mr. William Felton Page
ELON COLLEGE — Mr. William Felton Page, 69, of 3158 Altamahaw Race Track Road, died at 11:25 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after an illness of one year, one week critical.
A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Mrs. Nannie Mae Saul Page and the son of Mr. Preston Felton Page and Mrs. Helen Guthrie Page, both deceased. He was retired from AT&T. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church where he was a former deacon and member of the Morning Star Sunday school Class. He was a charter member of the Altamahaw-Ossipee Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years, where he was the president of the Board of Directors. He was a former security guard at Alamance County Hospital and Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include two sons, Mr. Dennis Willard Page of Elon College and Mr. William Mark Page of Salisbury; a stepmother, Mrs. Bettie Underwood Page of Elon College; one sister, Ms. Bonnie Page Thompson of Elon College; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Dave Gilbert, pastor and the Rev. Felton Massey. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6 to 8 this evening, and other times at the home.
