ELON COLLEGE — Robert Everette Chrismon, 82, of 1654 Underwood Rd., died suddenly Saturday, October 27, 2001, at Alamance Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at Camp Springs United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Charles Litzenberger and the Rev. Daryl Massey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Guilford County, he was a son of the late Preston and Ida Swift Chrismon and had lived in the Camp Springs Community of Caswell County for the past 50 years. He was retired from AT&T, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and a former member of the Cherry Grove Ruritan Club. Mr. Chrismon was preceded in death by his wife, Onie Underwood Chrismon; and two brothers, Howard Chrismon and David Chrismon. Surviving is his stepson, H.O. Davis and his wife Maryline of Elon College; three stepgrandchildren: Randy Davis, Yvonne D. Saul and husband Jeff of Elon College, and Lenora D. Wrenn and husband Alan of Prospect Hill; and four great-stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Saul, Job Saul, Dustin Wrenn and Jacob Wrenn. The family will see friends from 7 to 9 this evening at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Jeff and Yvonne Saul, 1878 Underwood Rd., Elon College.3, Robert Everette Chrismon
