Mary Jane Gwynn Hutchins, 71, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Cherry Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Sartin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mary was born in Caswell County to the late John Woodrow Gwynn and Nettie Stanley Gwynn. She loved painting, watching humming birds, enjoyed fishing and spoiling her dog, Lilly. She was a wonderful cook and no one ever left her house hungry. Most of all she loved her family she will be greatly missed.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Clyde Gwynn.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Hutchins; son, David Hutchins and wife Carisa; daughter, Lisa Hutchins; grandchildren, Jessica Stallings and Husband, Laramie, Tiffany Walker, Matthew Hutchins, Emily Walker; great grandchildren, Makena and Makaleigh;
brothers, Johnny and Rodney Gwynn; sisters, Patsy Smith, Jenny Martin, Linda Fuquay, Becky Gwynn and Nancy Eastwood as well as a large and loving extended family
