GIBSONVILLE - Clyde Ervin Gwynn, 68, of 437 Parkdale Road, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, August 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Mr. Wayne Jones officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Clyde was born in Rockingham County to the late, Woodrow and Nettie Gwynn. He retired from GKN Automotives after 28 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, working outdoors and making sure that his yard was always well kept. He loved his family and cherished his time with his children and grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Gwynn and mother-in-law, Margie Jones.
Clyde is survived by his children, Chris Gwynn of the home and Kelly Morgan and husband, Richard of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Nicole Gwynn and Jacob Wray; brothers, Johnny Gwynn and Rodney Gwynn; sisters, Becky Gwynn, Patsy Smith, Nancy Eastwood, Jenny Martin, Mary Hutchens and husband, James and Linda Fuquay; the Jones Family; and a large extended family.
