Major Charles Frank Hornbuckle, Jr., age 88, was a son of the late Charles Frank Hornbuckle, Sr. and Elizabeth Stewart Hornbuckle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Goodson Hornbuckle.
Major Hornbuckle was Retired USAF with 30 years of service, WWII and Vietnam veteran, flew B17's, B29's, B47's and B52 bombers. He was also retired from 22 years of employment with Gaston County Dyeing Machine Company where he was in field service and later safety manager.
Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Lincolnton.
