Ruben Tamariz, 87 of Bryant, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. He was born on August 5, 1934, in El Paso, Texas.
Ruben was retired from the US Army after 26 years of service.
Ruben was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Dale Tamariz, and sister, Emma Gonzales.
He is survived by his sons, David (Alice) Tamariz and Anthony (Donna) Tamariz, daughter, Lois (Terry) Callahan, sister, Lucy Tamariz; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday with Ed Soris officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VFW National Home for Children. 470, Ruben Tamariz
