Funeral services were to be held in Shreveport today for Milam J. Teekell, 45, who died Wednesday from injuries received in an automobile accident in Shreveport.
Mr. Teekell, a retired captain in the US Army, was a native of Coushatta. He is the brother of Mrs. Ollie Jo Manasco of Ruston.
The funeral services were scheduled today in the Osburn Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. Burial to be in Hand Cemetery under direction of Osburn Funeral Home.
Rev. Doyle Coody, pastor of the First Church of God Bossier will officiate at the services assisted by Rev. Lloyd Anderson(?), pastor of Hollywood Church of God in Shreveport.
Other survivors in addition to his sister, include his mother, Josie Hatfield of Shreveport, two sons Billy and Ben(?) and two daugthers, Marie(?) and Ann(?) Teekell, all of Sarasota, Fla.
