Funeral services for Mr. J. Fount Harris, age 66, were held Tuesday afternoon, January 4 at the
London Funeral Home, Lewisburg, Tenn. Burial was on the Harris property at a site chosen as a burial place by his mother a week before her death in 1906. This adjoins the Welch Cemetery. Mr. Harris died December 31, 1948, a life time resident of the community and the son of James Patterson and Sarah Dillehay Harris. His survivors include his widow Mrs. Zillah Whitsell Harris, a daughter Mrs. John R Sharp of Guys, Tenn, a son Captain William Patterson Harris and one brother J. Lewis Harris of Farmington. 470, J.
