Obituary Online notes for William Morgan WHITESELL
William Morgan Whitesell, age 91 of Lewisburg, died Monday, September 29, 2014 in Marshall Medical Center.
Mr. Whitesell was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late George David and Kate Isley Whitesell. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW2. He was a co-owner of the I-65 31A Truckstop from 1967 until 1974 and retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Aline Stinnett Whitesell in 2009 and sister, Isabell Jett, he is survived by his daughter, Pat Winnett, son, Delwyn Whitesell and sister, Arlene Blackwell all of Lewisburg, three grandchildren, Dee Winnett, Troy Whitesell and Lori Whitesell, three great grandchildren, Bailey Winnett, Lane Whitesell and Nyree Whitesell, and one step great grandchild, Heather Coyle.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery with military honors.
