Obituary Online notes for Lucille CRUNK
Services for Lucille C. Cartwright of Dallas, an active member of Dallas civic organizations, will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Sparkman-Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel, Dallas.

Mrs. Cartwright died Wednesday in Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, after a brief illness.

A native of Commerce, Hunt County, she had lived in Dallas since 1921.

She attended college at what is now East Texas State University.

Mrs. Cartwright was a life member of Freeman Memorial Clinic Women's Auxiliary and Children's Medical Center Women's Auxiliary and was active at the East Dallas Christian Church.

Her husband of 67 years, E.O. Cartwright, retired senior vice president and director of Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith Inc., is former president of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, former chairman of the board of Dallas Transit System and co-founder of Children's Medical Center.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cartwright is survived by two sons, Edwin O. Cartwright Jr. of Dallas and W. Eugene Cartwright of Santa Monica, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum, Dallas.
