Mr. Richard B Throneberry, age 83, of Shelbyville, Tennessee died Tuesday evening, April 23, 2013 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Throneberry was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Harvey Hanner and Nannie Florence Barnett Throneberry. He served in a special division of the Army and Air Force, building airfields during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Throneberry was a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Ray's Refrigeration of Tullahoma after 21 years of service.

Mr. Throneberry is survived by his wife, Ann Throneberry, Shelbyville, TN; daughters, Sharon Swan, Shelbyville, TN, Barbara Smithson, Normandy, TN; son, Terry Throneberry, Shelbyville, TN; sisters, Gladys Burrow and Jane Sutton, Shelbyville, TN; brothers, Martin D. Throneberry, Copperas Cove, TX, Thomas Aaron Throneberry, Shelbyville, TN; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Haskins Cemetery in the Clay Hill Community.
