James Thomas (Hoss) Woodward, age 74, of Petersburg, died Wednesday (May 21, 2008) at Lincoln Regional Medical Center.
A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Thomas Hoyle Woodward and Mildred Andrews Woodward.
He was retired from International Comfort Products after 44 years of service and was a farmer.
He was also a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church, a Sunday school superintendent and was on the board of trustees.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Woodward is preceded in death by a sister, Marie Woodward.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Barbara Talley Woodward of Petersburg; one daughter, Marie (Stanley) Cantrell of Petersburg; one granddaughter, McKenzie Cantrell of Petersburg; one grandson, Carey Cantrell of Petersburg; two sisters, Betty Lasater and Judy Richardson, both of Lewisburg; one brother, Jimmy Woodward of Vista, Cal.; two nephews, Tim Richardson and Rex Richardson, both of Lewisburg. 470, James Thomas “Hoss” Woodward
