Mary Frances Hamilton, 80, 165 E. Harrison Ave., died at 2:17 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at Miller's Merry Manor West.
She was born Aug. 4, 1922, in Marshall County, to Jesse and Lula (Whitesell) Newman. She married Albert R. Hamilton May 1951, in Wabash. He preceded her in death November 1957.
Mrs. Hamilton retired from Heckman Bindery in North Manchester. She was a 1940 graduate of Plymouth High School and attended Olive Branch Church of God, Roann.
Surviving are two daughters, Becky Brown and Mrs. Scott (Terri) Henthorn, Akron; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dean (Ruth) Krom, Indianapolis; three sisters, Esther Davis, Donna Copeland and Helen Owens, Wabash; three brothers, Ray Newman, Summerfield, Fla., LeRoy Newman, Wabash, and Wilbur Newman, Somerset; and three grandchildren, Eric Brown and Jamie Brown, Akron, and Mrs. Jason (Leslie) Henthorn, Wabash. Three brothers and one sister are deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, with the Revs. Lawrence See and Lowell Burrus officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Preferred memorials are to Olive Branch Church of God. 470, Mary Frances Newman Hamilton
