Dean was a 1968 graduate of Wabash High School, and received his B.A. Degree from Indiana University. He married Joyce Gaby in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 20, 1971. Dean retired as the manager and regional vice president of the Wabash Ridge Napa Store after 35 years. He enjoyed working, mushroom hunting, was an avid Purdue Basketball fan, and especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. 470, Dean Levon Sloop
