Obituary Online notes for “Bob” Robert Lynn MILLIKEN Sr.
Robert L. “Bob” Milliken, age 93, of Osceola, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 18, 2015 surrounded by many of his family members. Bob was born January 31, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Carlena (Beringer) Milliken. Following his graduation from High School, Bob joined the US Navy, where he served honorably during World War II. Bob had a long and enjoyable marriage to his wife Muriel, who preceded him in death, passing away in 2014.

Bob is survived by three sons; Robert (Pat) Milliken Jr. of Coatesville, PA, John (Karen) Milliken and Mike (Kari) Milliken, both of Mishawaka, three daughters; Sandra (Donald) Ellis of Waco, TX, Donna (Michael) Wysocki of Spring Hill, FL, and Janet (Donny) Simbeck of Osceola, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Doris Surma.

Bob enjoyed his retirement with fishing, camping, and growing fabulous vegetables in their garden. He was a lifelong Atheist, but close to his death, accepted Christ as his Savior. To God be the glory!

There will be no visitation or services. A private interment with Military Honors will be held at a later date. Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
