Mrs. Nellie M Williams, 63, Union Mills,IN, died at 7:30 this morning at the E Street division hospital [in LaPorte, IN] after an illness of 3 years.
She was born in St. Joseph County, August 11, 1908, to William & Minnie (Whitesell) Kagel and had lived in Union Mills for 22 years, going there from South Bend.
She had been employed at the Austenal compahy in LaPorte prior to her illness, She was a member of the Union Mills Presbyterian church, the Order of Eastern Star, Order of White Shrine in South Bend and the Amorand, South Bend.
She was married Sept. 17, 1927 to Everett Williams, who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Miss Joan Williams, Union Mills; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Hall and her step father, John B Hall, South Bend; one brother, George Kagel, South Bend; two step-sisters, Mrs. Forest Lemler, Mishawaka, and Mrs Wilber Hall, South Bend.
Interment was Thursday at 2:30 pm in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, South Bend. 470, Nellie M Kagel Williams
