Theresa Augustine, 84, a lifelong resident of Hershey, passed away on February 7, 2014 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence.
She was born August 24, 1929 daughter of the late Elpidio and Rosa Calamai.
Theresa loved to work outside in her vegetable and flower gardens, stopping to talk with Her neighbors as they walked by.
Theresa is survived by two sons, John Augustine of Bainbridge, and Steven Augustine of Mechanicsburg; a sister Cookie Henry of Tampa. FL; a sister-in-law Frances Tippet of Elkhart, IN; four grandchildren, Bryan & Jeffrey Augustine of Jefferson, MD; Amanda & Jeremy Augustine of Bethlehem, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl and a son, Kenneth, as well as her sisters, Lydia Ocamb, Anita Braun, Nella Butchkowski . A memorial service will be held on, Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, of Hershey. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Central PA 1320 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17110.
