Nadine Spencer, 73, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 7:25 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Wellbrooke of Wabash. She was born November 5, 1939 in Hindman, Kentucky to Herbert and Helen (Gayheart) Hall.
Nadine was a homemaker. She was the longtime companion of Wayne "Jack" Spencer Jr., who died December 29, 2009.
She is survived by 4 children, Tina (Mark) Sybrant of Boynton Beach, Florida, Randy Hallaway and Rick Hallaway, both of Wabash, and Michael Wayne (Solimar) Spencer of Dallas, Texas; 4 step-children, Carolyn (Rodney) France of Laketon, Indiana, Sylvia Wagers of Huntington, Indiana, Howard Scheffer of Wabash, and Dan (Marilyn) Scheffer of Gas City, Indiana; 4 brothers, Bob Hall of Wabash, John Hall of Oklahoma, Junior Hall and Danny Hall, both of Wabash; 3 sisters, Kathy Hall of Wabash, Wanda Jo Hopson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Jenny Cox of Scottsburg, Indiana; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Lincolnville. Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
