Robert W. Ivey, 78, Marion, died at 4:52 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, in his home. He was born in Houlton, Maine, to the late William and Irene (Waitt) Ivey. He married Edith Bolen on January 5, 1957, and she survives.
Robert was a graduate of Marion High School. He worked for Foster Forbes for 37 years as a Fork Truck Driver. Robert enjoyed bowling in several leagues, traveling, casinos, and spending time with his family at cook-outs. Robert was an avid Marion Giants and Boston Red Sox fan.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; children, Marie Franck, Harris Ivey, and Robert E. (Georgia) Ivey, all from Marion; grandchildren, Irene Hiatt, Stephanie Walden, Cody Polm, and Cierra Polm; great-grandchildren, TJ Brashear and Michael Hiatt; and siblings, David (Elda) Ivey, Marion, Terry (Debbie) Ivey, Marion, and Ethel (Charles) Connors, Port Charlotte, Florida.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Jane Marie Ivey; sister, Norma Lowe; and grandson Ricky Robillard.
