Dale Allen Whitesel, 61, Wabash, died May 9, 2000 in Wabash.
He was employed at Majestic in Huntington, IN. He was Co-Founder of the recently formed Grandparents Raising Grandchldren Support Group.
Dale was a member of the Calvary Chapel Worship Center, Wabash. He was a softball player and umpire in Wabash Community Service Softball Leagues and Travel Leagues for 45 years. He was a member of the Amateur Softball Association and was the current District Commissioner. Dale was also a Community Service Basketball Official. He was a 1957 graduate of Wabash High School.
Survivors are his wife Carol; three daughters, Paula Garner, Kim (Paul) Bakehorn, Lisa (Dan) Lee all of Wabash; two sons, Chris (Terry) Whitesel, Carmel, IN, Ron (Kathy) Whitesel, Eureka, IL; brother, Leslie (Mary) Whitesel, Wabash; 10 grandchildren and four step-grandchldren.
