Hager Hill resident, Carol Joan Pickle Houston, 59, died Sunday, February 13 at U. K. Medical Center, Lexington.
Mrs. Houston was born November 8, 1934 in Wabash, IN, the daughter of the late Ira and Mary Louise Ply Miller.
She was a factory employee for American Standard and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are her husband, Eslie Houston; one son, Ronnie Pickle of Wabash; two stepsons, Wallace and Jimmie Houston, both of Hager Hill; two daughters, Crystal Spurlock and Jenny Pickle, both of Paintsville; one stepdaughter, Sarah Houston of Hager Hill; two sisters, Donna Miller of Marion, OH and Virginia Smithers of Lagro, IN ;and two grandchildren; four step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 16 at Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Blair and Marty Spurlock officiating.
Burial was in Lakeview Memorial at Staffordsville.
