Obituary Online notes for Dorothy J. COLE
Dorothy J. Watson, 86 of North Manchester, Indiana formerly of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana. She was born to the late Ernest N. and Ethel (Brewer) Cole on June 15, 1926 in Wabash, Indiana.

She married Malvern B. Winters on September 16, 1945, he passed away on February 9, 1950. Then she married Robert D. Watson, he passed away in December of 1975. She retired from United Technologies in Wabash and North Manchester, Indiana after 27 years, she also worked for many years at Rock City Cafe in Wabash, Indiana. She was a member of First Church of God in Wabash, Indiana and Ladies of Moose Lodge 1195 of Wabash, Indiana.

She is survived by five sons, Malvern "Bud" Winters (Connie) of Roann, Indiana, David Watson of Texas, James N. Watson (Joan) of Warsaw, Indiana, Michael Watson of Warsaw, Indiana, and Darrell Watson (Judy) of North Manchester, Indiana; two daughters, Sharon Winters Dyer of Warsaw, Indiana and Tina Watson Daniel of Lagro, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to American Heart Association, 6100 W. 96th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46278-6005. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcdonaldfunerals.com
