Obituary Online notes for Ellen Louise OTTINGER
Louise Harshman, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Louisville.

A native of Hardin County, she was the retired owner and operator of Mrs. Harshman Day Nursery. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll Harshman; and a longtime companion, Houston L. Wilson.

Survivors include a son, Buddy (Jennie) Harshman of Franklin, Tenn.; two daughters, Jo (Joseph) Deck of Lakeville, Mass., and Dee Velichko of Beech Grove, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Ray officiating. Burial will be in Hardin Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Louisville.
