M. June Mitchell King, 74, of the 400 block of Lynnshores Drive, died Dec. 15, 2001, in Baypointe Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Burlington, N.C., on June 29, 1927.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles S. King; son, Charles ''Chip'' King Jr. of Virginia Beach; sister, Mrs. Sam C. McCauley of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel. The family will receive family and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
