MUNCIE--Vaneta Conn, 88, resident of The Woodlands Nursing Home, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 at the nursing home.
Mrs. Conn was born in Portland. She worked for Kmart stores as a greeter and stock person. She retired in 2001. She formerly worked with Marsh grocery, where she worked at the first Marsh store in Muncie, and also worked for Motor Wheel of LaGrange, Ind.
She was a member of Northview Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are a son, Phillip L. Conn (wife: Penny); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence LeRoy Conn, and a sister, Elvie Koop.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Calling will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. 470, Vaneta Warren Conn
