She was born May 26, 1923 in Ansonia, Ohio, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God at West Anderson. She was a member for the Madison County Unit for the Blind. She is survived by her One Daughter: Anita Russell Knepp & husband Ken of Lapel. Dan Russell & wife Melanie of Anderson. One sister: Dorothy Mendenhall of Anderson. Two brothers: Charles Parks of Mississippi. Everett Parks of Anderson. 11 Grandchildren: Lindsay Knepp, Tyler Knepp, Landon Knepp, Braden Knepp, Kelsie Knepp, Jared Knepp, Griffin Knepp, Maddie Knepp, Morgan Knepp, Jackson Knepp and Lauryn Russell. Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her 1st husband: John Russell in 1978. 2nd husband: Eugene Burlison. Parents: James & Elsie Whitesel Parks. Several brothers and sisters. Services will be Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 10:00 am, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson., with Pastor Bob Brown officiating.
