Frank E. Anderson, 91, 910 Laurel St., died at the Olney Care Center at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

He was born in Chicago on March 11, 1888, son of Frank E. and Charlotte (Peterson} Anderson.

He married Lois G. Ackels in Tipton, In., on May 17, 1914. She died on May 21, 1976.

Mr. Anderson was the owner of the Anderson and Son Oil Producers in Olney. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, a life-time member of the Chicago Masonic Lodge, the Shrine Club in El Paso, Texas, and the Olney Elks Lodge.

He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Thelma Anderson, Olney; a sister, Mrs. Ebbe Freure, Aurora, Co.; two grandchildren, Neal Anderson, Panama City, Fla., and Julia Anderson, Olney; two nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by a son, F. Ross Anderson, for whom the OCC Anderson Library is named.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at lite Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Gardner presiding. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Friday, with a Center Shrine Club ritual at 8 p.m. Entombment will be in the Haven Hill Mausoleum. Memorials can be made to the Olney Central College Foundation.
