Mrs. Verona Shoe Ward, 74, of 2405 Freeman Mill Rd., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997 at Moses H. Cone Hospital.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ward was a native of Julian and was the former owner and operator of Verona's Beauty Shop.
She is survived by a son, William Clark Shoe of Greensboro; sisters, Ethel Shoe of McLeansville, Edna Shoe of Gibsonville, Mary Ester Daniel of Greensboro; brothers, Dillard May and Mitchell May, both of Julian.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Lambeth Troxler Funeral Home.
