EDEN- Floda Foster Somers, 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at Morehead Nursing Center.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Somers was born in Rockingham County to the late William Anderson and Dorcas McClamroch Foster. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Draper and was retired from Fieldcrest Mills, where she worked in the Blanket Mill accounting department for many years.
She is survived by sister Hazel Griggs of Concord; niece Janice Sparks of Eden and other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
