Bette Lee Craven Weaver, age 81, of Asheboro, NC and formerly of Ramseur, NC passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Universal Healthcare of Ramseur.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Asheboro, NC on April 2, 1937 to Russell W. and Ruth Slack Ferree.
She married Roland L. Weaver on July 31, 1981. B
ette Lee was employed with the NC Zoo for 20 years.
Bette Lee was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Asheboro.
In addition to her parents, Bette Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Roland L. Weaver.
She is survived by her children, Alton W. Craven III (Betty), Wendy Lee Gollihue (Ray-deceased), and Christopher F. Craven (Teresa); grandchildren, Amanda Craven, Amber Kinney (Michael), Amy Pierce (Brian), Ray Gollihue III (Jessica), Krystin Gollihue, Adam Craven (Brittany), and Caitlin Craven; and great grandchildren, Aubrey Lee Craven, Austin Pierce, and Hanna Rotenberry.
A private family service will be held.
