Elon – Tammy Reneé Somers Ferguson, 59, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a natïve of Alamance County and the wife of Ron Clinton Ferguson who survives.
Tammy was employed with Dual Vison Tax Service her position was called Director of Custom Smiles because of her outgoing personality. She never met a stranger and loved meeting and making new friends. Tammy enjoyed family trips to the beach, mountains and she loved the fall of the year. Tammy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother "YaYa".
Survivors include her husband, Ron C. Ferguson of the home; daughter, Brianna Wellons of Burlington; sons, Charles “Cody” Wellons and wife, Renee of Gibsonville and Christian “Chris” Wellons of Burlington; grandchildren, Landen Wellons, Annistyn Berdan, Grayson Dawson and Colton Oxendine; her father, Harry Lee Somers of Pennsylvania and her mother, Jane Lee Evans Somers of Burlington; sister, Trina Womble of Elon and a brother, Ted Somers and wife, Amy of Saxapahaw.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Randy Hobbs. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of her daughter, Brianna Wellons.

There will be a visitation from 68pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
