Obituary Online notes for Esley Vergene CONKLIN
Esley V. Beck, 86, of Winchester, formerly of Greenfield and Indianapolis, died April 26, 2003, at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester. Born July 30, 1916, in Randolph County, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary Leacey (Thornburg)Conklin.
She had been employed as a district supervisor with Indiana Bell in Indianapolis for over 30 years.
Survivors include her son Keith Scholl of Union City; daughter Diane Ware of St. Lucia, Fla.; brother Auburn Conklin of Frankfort; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Beck, in 1990; son Lyle Scholl; and sister Alice Yoder.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Park Cemetery in Greenfield with Bruce Bryan officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no calling. 470, Esley V. Conklin Beck
