She is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Leslie Jo Owens. Laura is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Owens; her daughter, Robyn (Ken) Raney; granddaughter, Elizabeth Meadows; grandson, Nicholas (Destiny) Valentine; great grandsons, Leonardo & Desmond Valentine.
