Asby and his wife Juanita, and Glen "Stuff" Asby; four sisters; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives.
His grandsons served as pallbearers.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Alligood and two brothers, George asby and Charlie Asby, Jr. 470, James Thomas Asby Sr.
