Luretta Moore Bouldin 93 passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Pennybryn @Maryfield.
She was born in Davidson County to the late Bascom Vernie and Marie Swaim Moore.
She lived her entire life in High Point. On June 8, 1946 she married John Wilson Bouldin.
Luretta graduated from Hasty High School and Jones Business College and went to work for English Motor Company as a bookkeeper. She then worked for Beeson Hardware Company in High Point, also as a bookkeeper and was also a homemaker. Luretta was a member of the Springhill United Methodist Church, the Adult Fellowship Sunday School Class, The Joan Christy Methodist Womens Circle and the Cemetery Committee. Luretta lived a life of service to her Lord, her church and her family.
Luretta is preceded in death by her husband John and a brother A. B. Moore.
She is survived by a son Dale Moore Bouldin of Raleigh, NC, a daughter Debbie Gaillard and husband Jerry of Johns Creek, Ga., grandchildren, Crystal Bouldin Barnes and husband Doug, Jordan Gaillard, Cassidy Gaillard, Mackenzie Gaillard, great grandchildren Sadie Jo Barnes and Bentley Barnes.
She is also survived by two brothers J. Futrelle and Owen S. Moore.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, 2014, 6-8pm at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. Funeral Service will be at Springhill United Methodist Church on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
