Lela Satterfield Johnson, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday March 14, 2019 at Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington. Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday March 17, 2019 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2PM-3PM.
Lela was born on May 1, 1931 to the late Arthur and Callie Mae Satterfield. She was a faithful member of Johnson's Baptist Church in Browns Summit. Lela retired from AMP in Greensboro after many years of service. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her niece, Pam May; nephews, Jimmy Cobb and Karen, Keith Cobb and Pat, Dennis Matkins and Gloria, Scottie Baldwin and Patti, Anthony Matkins and Jennie, Kennon Matkins and Gwen, and numerous cousins and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Pete Johnson; sisters, Juanita Baldwin, Naomi Matkins, and Mary Cobb. 470, Lela Satterfield Johnson

BURLINGTON - Lela Satterfield Johnson, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday March 14, 2019 at Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington.
