Ruth Medlin Wyrick, 83, of Greensboro, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2009, at Moses Cone Hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at Lebanon Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Ruth Wyrick was born October 12, 1925, in Greensboro. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Prior to becoming a homemaker, Mrs. Wyrick worked at Teague Auto Supply. She was also a graduate of McClung's Business College.
Mrs. Wyrick was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Wyrick; sister, Juanita Ritter, and brothers, William Medlin Jr. and Winfred Medlin.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy S. Wyrick of Greensboro and Brenda W. Haraburda and husband, Kent, of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, Martha Davis; four grandchildren, David Haraburda and wife, Stephanie, Michael Haraburda and wife, Naomi, Katie Thomas and husband, Will, and Adam Haraburda; and two great-grandchildren, William Thomas and Alexa Thomas.
