Obituary Online notes for Frank H. LINK
Like most of the Link Brothers, Dietz was a kind man with a good sense of humor. When things would go wrong, he'd say "...Relax. It's a hell of a nice day for a drive."

Dietz worked for a few years with the Minneapolis & St. Louis Railroad. When World War 2 started, he was inducted into the Army, and eventually served in the Alutions, in an anti-aircraft battery.

After the war, he married Edna Boone, and the two of them lived in Watertown, SD, until aprox. 1960, when they moved to Coast Mesa, Ca., where he worked as a grounds keeper for a golf course. Dietz and Edna moved back to Watertown c. 1970, and Edna died shortly after that.

In 1973 Dietz married Bessie Gilles. Dietz had no children from either marrage, but did have several step-children from his marrage to Bessie.
