Rosa Elizabeth Neese Norris, 82, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

She was born on June 29, 1941 in Guilford County to the late Walter Leonard Neese and Fannie Agnes Foster Neese and was the wife of 61 years to the late Marvin Jerry Norris, Sr. who passed in April 2023.

Rosa was a homemaker and owner/operator of Norris Trailer Park. She attended Lamb’s chapel with her granddaughter and enjoyed gardening and shopping. But most of all Rosa loved spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, Zoie. Rosa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her son, Marvin Jerry Norris, Jr.; her granddaughter, Zoie Elizabeth Norris; a grandson, Trey Gene Oliver; great grandchildren, Landon and Colton Oliver; her sister, Marlene Clemmons and husband Jim; her canine companion, Stitches; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Jerry Norris, Sr.; her son, Clifton “Cliff” Eugene Norris; and two brothers, Mickey and Frankie Neese.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 19, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Steve Loy with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 12:45pm Friday prior to the service and other times at the residence.
