Mrs. Helen "Mimi" Combs White, 75 of Reidsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at 3 p.m. in Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Tolodziecki officiating. Interment will follow in Reidslawn Cemetery.
Mrs. White was born on January 15, 1939, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Herbert Rayne Combs and Carrie Evelyn Bradsher Combs.
She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company.
She was happily married to the man of her dreams for 56 years, Lester White. She always said she was living the fairy tale life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her aunt, Margie Combs Wall.
Survivors include her daughter, Ramona White Jessie her grandchildren, Tonya Paschal and husband Larry McCusker, Tia Jessie Reid and husband Robert and Thalia Jessie; her great grandchildren, Kristen Lambert, Zachary Lambert and wife Hannah, Daniel Lambert and wife Megan, Brandon Paschal, Dalante' Enoch, Desire' Enoch, Tori Jessie and Hunter Orr; great-great grandson, Bryson Hawkins and one on the way; her brother, Jerry Combs and wife Carolyn; four sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
