Spouses: Arthur Wiley Solomon, Dr. Jack Garian and Dr. William Bickers
Annie worked at Philip Morris for 35 years, first in quality control and later, before retirement, as a quality assurance supervisor. She was a founding member and partner, sitting on the board, of the Richmond Bridge Center. Annie and Dr. Bickers provided an endowment fund to chair a professorship for the School of International Studies at the College of William & Mary. She was very instrumental and supportive of her family and often was considered the family matriarch.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 15 at Bliley's-Central, 3801 August Ave., and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virginia Baptist Home Foundation (for Lakewood Manor), 1900 Lauderdale Dr., Richmond, Va. 23238 or St. James Armenian Apostolic Church, 934 Pepper Ave., Richmond, Va. 23236. Annie would like a special thanks to her friends at Lakewood Manor as well as the nurses and all personnel.
