GREENSBORO – Cedelia was known as "Mom", "Granny", "Charley", and/or "Aunt Deely" to many people and loved by all. She will be missed by the many lives she touched.
Cedelia Mae Wagoner Hepler passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital. Cedelia was born on July 25, 1930 to the late William S. and Mattie Isabelle Greeson Wagoner.
During and after graduating from Bessemer High School in 1948, Cedelia attended Elon College, worked and retired from the family business, Wagoner Tractor & Equipment Co.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Knight (James), Cindy Fields (Steve), and Gina Bowden; grandchildren Christy Knight, Daniel Knight (Caroline), Ben Bowden (Stacy), and Luke Bowden; great grandchildren Aubry, Trevor, Henry, and Levi.
She is also survived by sister Kathryn Burns, father of the daughters, R.W. Hepler, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers John, Jake, Harry, and David, and sisters Mary Helen Wagoner, Betsy Ruffolo, Doris Freeze, and Edith Stone.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel. The interment will immediately follow the service at Friedens Lutheran Church in Gibsonville, NC. 470, Cedelia Mae Wagoner Hepler
