Russell M. Harrison, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Verdi, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Russell was born on July 20, 1948, in Rockingham County, to the late Hobert M. and Mamie Ruth Andrews Harrison. He retired from American Tobacco/Brown & Williams after about 30 years. He was an amateur radio operator and had a personal pilot’s license. He loved flying and ham radios. He was a very loving father and grandfather.
