Obituary Online notes for Lillian Sue CALHOUN
Lillian "Sue" Martin, 77, of 7049 Friendship Church Road, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Ashton Place.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Hope River Church in Gibsonville with Rev. Larry Pope officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening at Hope River Church from 6-8 PM and other times they will be at the home.
Sue was born in Guilford County to the late Robert Roy Calhoun and Lucille Wyrick Calhoun and was a retiree of North East Middle School Cafeteria. She attended Hope River Church and enjoyed taking trips, loved flowers and humming birds and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Calhoun and Harold Calhoun and daughter-in-law, Tanya Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, William "Billy" Martin; sons, Roger Martin and Dina Fletcher and Scott Martin and Courtney Mabe; like a daughter, Brenda McMath and husband, Frank; grandchildren, Amanda Hopkins and husband, Jason and Brooke and Sarah Martin; great grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Hopkins; brothers, Leo Calhoun and Elwood Calhoun and wife, Betty; sister, Annette Puckett and numerous nieces and nephews 470, Lillian “Sue” Calhoun Martin
